The PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) device works as an air compressor, it constantly blows pressurized air to patient's airway, to prevent airway collapse.

The heated humidifier is used for air heated humidification, making the therapy more comfortable. There are 0-6 heated humidification levels, Level 0 is to turn off the heated humidification function, Level 1 is the lowest heated humidification level and Level 6 is the highest heated humidification level. 

 

The  device can be separated from the humidifier tank and used  on its own
