The needle shaft is made of stainless steel and has an extremely thin silicone coating; the tip is filed to diamond sharpness and 3 times polished helping to ensure a practically painless insertion.

 

B type needle has a plastic handle made of lightweight, environmentally and skin friendly polypropylene plastic. The colour of the handle is colour coded to the gauge of the needle.
