The touch activated Unistik Touch means you simply press the device against the sample site allowing it to activate automatically under pressure. 

 

Once it is activated the needle retracts into the body of the device which reduces the risk of sharps injury. 

 

It also features our patented Comfort Zone Technology. Comfort Zone Technology is comprised of eight raised pressure points on the patient end of the safety lancet.

This Single-use safety lancet range offers a choice of four different depth and gauge specifications for use across all clinical environments and blood samplingrequirements.

 

Four different gauge 

1.5mm/30 gauge-Suggested patient areas e.g. pediatric and frequent testing

1.8mm/28 gauge -Suggested test areas e.g. ward blood glucose monitoring and HbA1C

2.0mm/21 gauge  -Suggested test areas e.g. cholesterol, Haemoglobin (Hgb), diagnostic kit tests such as cardiac enzymes

2.0mm/23 gauge -Suggested test areas e.g. ward blood glucose monitoring, cholesterol, HbA1C

 

Lancets are used to obtain a blood sample in order to test blood glucose levels. They can be used in conjunction with an appropriate device or may be designed for single use with the lancing mechanism being disposed of along with the lancet after use.

Directions

Twist off and discard lancet cap. DO NOT PULL.

Press platform firmly against sample site. Lancet will automatically retract into the body of the device.

Dispose of in a suitable sharps container.
